so i went back to the library and in the end, i talked to like 5 employees and we bargained. i only paid half. i still think it's unfair but hey, I have no proof. so it's better than paying the whole fine. i hope this doesnt happen again. I'm keeping my receipts in case now.
well, the panic hasn't sunk in yet, so I haven't started my essay.
